A deal has been negotiated by FC Barcelona and UD Las Palmas for Iván Cédric to join Barça Atlètic for a single season, ending on June 30, 2025. A purchase option for the Blaugrana club at the conclusion of the season is included in the deal. The 22-year-old Spanish and Cameroonian player lined up for Real Valladolid during the previous season until Las Palmas signed him after his contract expired earlier this summer. And now, after only a few months, Cedric is traveling once more.
If the Cameroon U23 international continues to show promise, the Blaugrana may decide to make his stay permanent the following summer. The newest member of Barca Atletic will undoubtedly be looking to contribute to Albert Sanchez's team in the next campaign. After two games this season, the club is still winless. After a 1-1 draw with Real Union in their first game, Sanchez's team lost 2-1 to Andorra.
