According to Bild, Ivan Fresneda is one of Borussia Dortmund's summer transfer targets. The Bundesliga club wants to sign the Real Valladolid player to fill their right-back position. The athlete is reportedly worth roughly €10 million, despite earlier rumours that he was closer to €20 million. In any case, the signing is within budget given the anticipated sale of Jude Bellingham.
Dortmund are concerned about the transfer competition though, since Fresneda has also received a "lucrative offer" from Arsenal. According to a report from The Telegraph in April, Arsenal put in "considerable legwork" to evaluate Fresneda during the January transfer window with the intention of maybe buying him in the summer. As they aim to improve their defensive alternatives for the next Champions League season, the Gunners may potentially pursue their interest.
