After just one year, in which he performed at various levels, German international have declared his farewell to the club on social sources. "I want to thank LASK for the trust and the great time we've shared here in Linz. It was an enriching experience working in a new environment once more. Now, it's the right moment for me to embark on a new chapter. I'll reveal the new challenges—both on and off the pitch—that lie ahead for me soon. I wish LASK all the best and every success," the player stated.
The 36-year-old Boateng joined LASK last year and featured in 14 official matches for the side.
It's worth noting that Boateng's contract with LASK was originally set to run until the summer of 2026.
