Jese regrets the negative result

At this point, a comeback doesn't seem that difficult for a team such as Real Madrid, even if they lost 2-0 in the first leg against Wolfsburg. The German side is the Bundesliga's 8th spot right now, so not being able to get a positive result and even score a single goal for Real Madrid almost seems like a bad taste joke. But at the end that's what went down and after the match Los Blancos urged the fans and the rest of the team to get that fighting spirit from last Saturday back.

Talking in the mixed zone after the defeat, home product Jese sent a message to all the fans: "Wolfsburg are very strong at home. Bear in mind that you can lose games; you can't win everything. We tried but I'm sure we can come back at the Bernabeu with the help of the fans. I am sure we will do just that. We are a team and we can overcome this. We all win and we all lose."

The Spaniard is well aware that the whole team needs to analyze what the hell happened, because this cannot happen again next week. The Champions League is the last competition Los Blancos can actually win and today they jeopardized all their chances: "Now we need to think about what we've done wrong in order to improve in the second leg. We have to analyze areas to improve. We will give it our all as if our lives depended on it at the Bernabeu to win the match, for them and for us."
