Joao Cancelo snatched a late win for Barcelona

With nine minutes left, strikes from Jorgen Strand Larsen and Tasos Douvikas had put Celta 2-0 up. However, Robert Lewandowski's two precise goals in the span of four minutes saved Barcelona's chances. The comeback was finished off by Cancelo, who met a Gavi pass and calmly volleyed it past Ivan Millar. With both teams having 16 points, Barcelona is now in first place in La Liga owing to a better goal differential than Girona.

Luca de la Torre, Iago Aspas, and Jonathan Bamba of Celta frequently got through Barca's defenders, causing them to lose the ball. But Xavi's team held strong and kept launching waves of assaults against the visitors' backline until it finally gave way. If Real Madrid defeats Atletico Madrid in Sunday's Madrid derby, they will climb back to the top of the standings and two points ahead of Barcelona.
