The English defender Joe Gomez has made his stance clear regarding leaving Liverpool in the upcoming winter transfer window, amid a decline in his role with the team under coach Arne Slot.
According to the British website "Football Insider", the 28-year-old English defender does not intend to leave the "Reds" in January despite his limited appearances this season.
The source added that the Italian club AC Milan has shown interest in signing the player, but Gomez still sees himself as an important part of coach Arne Slot's project, as he relies on him as a reliable defensive option in case of absences or injuries.
Gomez is considered one of the longest-serving members of the current team, and he has expressed satisfaction with his current role within the team, making the likelihood of his departure next winter unlikely for now.
