Jose Mourinho’s side slips against Leicester

Tottenham gave away the match-winning penalty to Jamie Vardy that gift-wrapped the Foxes a win in the north London match. Their defensive side struggled and Jose Mourinho did not hold the blame on Serge Aurier for their 2-0 loss to Leicester City in their recent Premier League encounter that sees them fifth on the table.

Aurier penalized Wesley Fofana in the stoppage time in the first half which essentially have Leicester the lead they needed with a famous Jamie Vardy’s spot-kick. Toby Alderweireld later scored in the second half to hand Tottenham their second consecutive defeat. Mourinho blamed his side’s poor performance during the night costing them the much-coveted second place right behind Liverpool to Leicester City who is not just four points away from Reds.
