Josh Sargent ends Frankfurt's unbeaten run

Werder Bremen puts an end to Eintracht Frankfurt's unbeaten run in Bundesliga with a 2-1 win. Frankfurt was going strong with 11 back-to-back wins which involved defeating Bayern Munich a week ago in a surprising event. Frankfurt went ahead when Andre Silva's header found the net for his 19th goal of the season.

Bremen but later leveled the playing field with Milot Rashica missing an opportunity to score and later set up Theodor Gebre Selassie who scored for Bremen right after the second half commenced. Later Bremen found a winner as well in 61st minute when Josh Sargent gently pushed in a goal off Maximilian Eggestein's through-ball. Frankfurt tasted their third defeat of the season and first one of this year and rest 4th on the table with Bremen settling in 12th eight points above the relegation zone.
