Juventus 2-0 victory over Monza

With goals from Nico Gonzalez and Randal Kolo Muani, Juventus went back on track, but they were down to 10 men for the entirety of the second half against Monza as Kenan Yildiz was sent out for aggressive behaviour. The Bianconeri were still in shock following their 1-0 loss to Parma on Wednesday, which dropped them to fifth position. Randal Kolo Muani took over after Dusan Vlahovic sustained an injury during the match, joining Teun Koopmeiners, Federico Gatti, Arek Milik, Gleison Bremer, and Juan Cabal on the medical table. Monza had just lost four straight games, including a close 1-0 loss to Napoli, although Matteo Pessina, Armando Izzo, Danilo D'Ambrosio, Keita Balde Diao, and Kevin Zeroli were not present.

Kolo Muani’s acrobatic volley stung Stefano Turati’s gloves at the back post, while Samuele Birindelli failed to make the most of a promising counter-attack.
