Juventus and Salernitana drew 1-1 to earn Juventus their sixth straight Serie A draw. Stefano Colantuono's team had taken the lead at halftime thanks to a goal from Niccolò Pierozzi, but Adrien Rabiot grabbed the equalizer in stoppage time to cap off a Juve onslaught on the visitors' goal.
Rabiot's close-range strike gave Juventus the equalizer after they had struck the woodwork three times in the game. Dusan Vlahovic scored a goal from outside the penalty area after eight minutes. His strong drive broke off the crossbar's underside. After 25 minutes, Salernitana was awarded a corner kick. At the outside of the six-yard box, Niccolò Pierozzi directed his header goalwards, going unmarked. Wojciech Szczesny struggled to get hands on the ball after racing over his line, but he was unable to stop it from intruding at his near post.
