The Dutch center defender, who gained notoriety under Motta at Bologna the previous season, is now the number one player on Juventus' wishlist.

Despite the summertime departure of his defensive partner Riccardo Calafiori to Arsenal, according to Calcioermcato, the 25-year-old former AZ Alkmaar player is still making an impression as one of Serie A's best defenders this year. Several European teams, especially those in the Premier League, have taken notice of his performances in the wake of his recent performance at Anfield versus Liverpool. Beukema's background fits in nicely with Juventus' latest endeavor. He is an appealing potential for the Turin club because he is still relatively young and his market worth has not yet risen. Due to these circumstances, Juventus may decide to make a significant deal during the winter window in an attempt to defeat the anticipated intense competition in the summer.
