The Black and Greens first appeared open to letting Berardi leave the team during this transfer window, even giving teams like Juventus a deadline to make their bid. Sassuolo currently believes that Berardi will remain with the squad for the whole of the current season because the Bianconeri were unable to satisfy this deadline. Berardi, who is regarded as one of the best strikers in Italian football, wants to test himself at a more prestigious team.

However, if Sassuolo maintains their position and refuses to participate in discussions, a transfer to Juventus may be in jeopardy. In accordance with a source from Calciomercato, Juventus is still interested in signing Berardi and is prepared to make a bid for the excellent youngster who was a member of the Euro 2020 championship team soon.
