Juventus had expressed interest in signing Suso

Suso, who had previously played in Serie A, was seen to be a solid choice due to his background. After losing Angel di Maria, the Bianconeri were eager to bolster their team and thought that either Berardi or Suso would be beneficial additions. Due to missing the transfer deadline, they were unable to sign Berardi, and they encountered difficulties trying to sign Suso. Juventus made a last-minute attempt to sign Suso, but their efforts were unsuccessful since they came too late to persuade Sevilla to part with the midfielder.

Suso's management's unwillingness to let go of such a crucial player was also a major factor in his decision to remain at Sevilla; the manager is said to have blocked the move. Juve FC claims that if we had been sincere in our pursuit of Suso, we ought to have moved more quickly. When another opportunity to make moves and sign players presents itself, we must now perform better.
