The Bianconeri now have a weaker defensive lineup as both Juan Cabal and Gleison Bremer have been declared out for the rest of the season. This has highlighted how urgently reinforcements are needed, particularly as Juventus looks to keep its competitive advantage in Serie A and other leagues. Even though the squad has so far been undefeated in the league, their lack of defensive depth may become a serious issue in the future.
According to reports, Juventus has set its eyes on strengthening its defence during the January transfer window in order to remedy this problem. In an effort to cover for the injured players, agents have been actively pitching their clients to the team. Kalidou Koulibaly, a former Napoli defender who currently plays in Saudi Arabia, is one such player that has been connected to Juventus. Calciomercato claims that Koulibaly's representatives have offered the Bianconeri the chance to sign him in exchange for a January transfer.
