Juventus have shifted their focus to Lorenzo Pellegrini after already prising Zeki Celik away from Roma, adding pressure to a capital club desperate to retain its captain. Gian Piero Gasperini is reportedly frustrated, viewing Celik’s loss as a major setback, especially with medical tests already planned before Juventus intervened. According to Goal, Pellegrini, currently a free agent, has yet to agree a renewal with Roma, and talks with Juventus are underway.

The midfielder is said to be evaluating a concrete offer, with a decision expected soon. Pellegrini’s unresolved situation has alarmed Roma’s hierarchy, as Gasperini considers him central to his tactical plans for the upcoming Serie A season. After securing Celik, Juventus are plotting a second high‑profile free transfer that would represent an even bigger coup. Despite Pellegrini’s strong emotional ties to Roma, Juventus’ approach has placed negotiations on a knife‑edge, intensifying the unease within the Giallorossi staff.
