Juventus under suspicion. Cancelo and Félix Correia deals investigated

The Turin Public Ministry ordered the opening of an investigation into Juventus following an alleged falsification of accounts over the past three years, having already carried out searches of the offices of the historic Italian club.

At issue are a total of 42 transfers, around 50 million euros, all of which were revealed, in full, this Saturday, by the Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport. Among these suspicious moves are two involving Portuguese.

One of them involves the sale of João Cancelo to Manchester City, in the summer of 2019, for around 65 million euros, the opposite path being taken by Danilo, a former FC Porto player, for 37 million euros.

The transalpine court will also have raised doubts regarding the acquisition of the young Portuguese promise Félix Correia (which is now on loan to Parma) from the English champions, the following year, in exchange for 10.5 million euros.
