Kaka hails Ronaldo the beast

He has already said it a couple times in public, Cristiano Ronaldo wants to keep playing at a top level until he is 40 years of age. For Brazilian playmaker who performs in the MLS this is totally possible, Cristiano Ronaldo is a freak of nature much like Zlatan Ibrahimovic but a little bit improved. This means that we might get a lot more Ronaldo than we are expecting because he is only 31-years old now and he seems to be performing at his best level and doesn't look like he will his the brakes anytime soon.

Talking to Omnisport, Kaka spoke about how pleasantly surprised he is for being able to watch his friend keep growing despite his age: "It's incredible, he shows every year that he can beat himself. Every year he has motivation to keep going, to keep scoring and be the best player in the world. Sometimes when you have won a lot of things in your career, it is normal to slow down a little bit so maybe the motivation in your mind and mentality is not easy. But he is so incredible like [Lionel] Messi because these guys have won everything they could and they still want to win, they still want to be the best. It's incredible."

Although it's still too soon to determine whether Ronaldo will be able to keep playing at the same level until he is 40 or not, we can rest easy because we'll have him at this top form during the next five years at least. He may lose a little bit of speed but all that can be replaced by experience and that innate ability to score more than 50 goals per season. Only Leo Messi can rival his stats, but not even the Argentine might get as far as Ronaldo is right now.
