Even though Phillips has been called up to the England national team, he understands that consistent playing time is necessary to guarantee a spot at Euro 2024. Due to this circumstance, a team now has the chance to sign him on a second-half loan, and Juventus is in a good position to do so. Phillips is one of the midfielders the Bianconeri are targeting in order to help them achieve their season goals.

Manchester City has established a demand price for his signing and is prepared to let him go either permanently or on a temporary basis. The English champions are reportedly hoping to sell him for 25 million euros, according to a report on Tuttomercatoweb. Juventus will pay this cost at the end of the season to finalise his move and add him to their roster, if they are able to arrange a loan agreement for him.
