The Toffies have a very specific set of players who have a wide variation of skills, they have players such as Gerard Deulofeu in the winger position who are capable of opening up the game for the rival to the sides. But the Catalan player hasn't really performed at the level everyone expected from him since he left FC Barcelona, that's why manager Ronald Koeman is looking at several other options and may have stumbled upon the best one for the club.
This Sunday, Dutch winger Memphis Depay proved he is capable of turning into the main attraction for any squad, whether it's the national team or a club. His lack of minutes at Manchester United has opened up a whole new range of options for him in different clubs. Everton is a viable one for his specific set of skills, his compatriot and Toffies' manager Ronald Koeman agrees.
He told Fox Sports that: "I would love to have him in my team at Everton. He is a very interesting player in my opinion. He has a lot of individual quality, is always dangerous going forward and is pretty efficient as well. He just needs to get regular playing time again. I already wanted him at Southampton in 2015, but he picked Manchester United at the time, which was a logical choice."
