Vincent Kompany is reinforcing Bayern Munich’s commitment to training‑ground secrecy by overseeing the construction of a ten‑metre fence around the club’s new practice facility. The 40‑year‑old coach, already one of Europe’s most influential managers, wants to ensure sessions remain completely hidden from scouts, media and potential leaks. After debuting Adrian Newey’s lighter car‑inspired upgrades in Hungary and seeing Fernando Alonso reach Q2, Bayern now aims to strengthen its competitive edge with a fully protected environment.
The structure will feature tall poles supporting a dark, anti‑spy screen made of heavy cables and an opaque covering, allowing players to work in total privacy. Kompany previously used similar measures at Burnley and personally inspected the Munich site alongside sporting director Christoph Freund after returning from the Asian tour.
