Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan laments on current state of Ghana football

Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan has bemoaned on the current football draught in the country.

The Ghana Premier League is in a halt after to a ban was imposed on football activities.

The Attorney General place a court injunction on football following a video released by investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas which exposed several top football officials including FA President Kwesi Nyantakyi.

Players have since been inactive which has become a problem for all stakeholders.

Annan has called on authorities to put in place immediate measure to have football back.

“Actually, is not easy because everybody has his job and that is what we do for living, we play football to take care of our families and our friends.” Annan stated in an interview.

“Suspending football doesn’t really help us financially, moreover, the development of a player comes down, because when you are playing the league, maybe players will be having contracts and then signing for other clubs but when its suspended, it’s very disturbing”.
