This Wednesday, the Swedish national team will play their last group stage match of the European Championship with a small chance of qualifying for the next round. Their rival, Belgium, didn't start very well in the first game after losing to Italy but get recovered after getting past the Republic of Ireland. Sweden on their part, have only salvaged a single point but still have a chance of getting past the group stage onto the round of 16.
Sweden's trump card is still veteran Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who has already revealed that this major tournament will be his last with his country. This Wednesday, Ibra has the chance of taking his team to the next round with his amazing talent. The incredible campaign he's had this year gives the Swedish fans more than enough reasons to believe they can defeat Belgium and claim their group's second spot. His teammate Sebastian Larsson, spoke about Zlatan's resolve and chances to make a difference.
Larsson told reporters: "You know what he brings to the team. He's our main guy that's scored more goals than anyone else with Sweden. So let's wait and see. I'm sure he's going to come up with something good on Wednesday [against Belgium]."
Zlatan's compatriot Oscar Hiljemark also spoke about their teammate: "Of course Zlatan is a world-class player and he's on top of the world and has been for the last 10 years. Of course it's an advantage for us, but we have to use him in the right way and get him involved in the game in a positive way. It's not just about kicking the ball up to him and hoping for the best. We have to create the spaces and the possibilities for him to do what he's best at."
