Former Arsenal player Ainsley Maitland-Niles demonstrated why he is one of the world's coldest penalty-takers with an ice-cold spot kick in the 106th minute that helped Lyon defeat Brest 4-3 in Ligue 1 on Sunday. The two teams competed in an unbelievable match, and it appeared like Brest would win and go one step closer to winning League football, but the former Ligue 1 winners rallied from behind to complete an extraordinary comeback.
Lyon fell behind 3-1 in the 68th minute after taking an early 1-0 lead. Brest, who have excelled this season and are presently second, were on the right track to win the match. Instead, Pierre Sage's squad rallied back valiantly, pulling level by the 80th minute. They were handed a penalty in the dying minutes of the game, and the former Gunner Maitland-Niles stepped up and converted from the spot.
