Late goals made Arsenal win over Palace

Arsenal’s hopes for playing European football next season are up and alive after the 3-1 win to Crystal Palace. The win credits are to the stoppage-time goals by Gabriel Martinelli and Nicolas Pepe. Arsenal was given the lead in the initial half in 10 minutes before half-time by Pepe (35’). In the second half, Crystal Palace leveled the score with Arsenal just after the hour mark when Christian Benteke scored for the team in the 62nd minute.

It seemed that Palace will most likely take the lead and all three points. Also, there was a great chance with Wilfried Zaha to snatch victory for the Palace, but cannot dribble over the keeper Bernd Leno and moments later, the ball was with Arsenal. The victory goals were scored in 90’+1’ and 90’+5’ minutes by Martinelli and Pepe.
