Lazio and Hellas Verona drew with each other

It was a thrilling draw against Hellas Verona and Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico. This match was enough to claim the fifth spot and the Europa League next season. The Aquille was confident of their spot in the Europa League but required one point to secure the first spot ahead of Roma. Some players weren’t a part of the match like Luis Alberto and Antonin Barak were injured, and Patric and Koray Gunter were banned.

6 minutes was all that it took to break through the deadlock. Lazio’s defenders were napping by a Darko Lazovic cross that floated onto the head of Giovanni Simeone at the back post. Verona managed to double their lead on the counter. Felipe Anderson fought back bursting to the by-line, but Jovane Cabral turned wide.
