Lazio beats Spezia, Ciro immobile hits again

In his team's 3-0 victory against Serie A underdogs Spezia on Friday, Ciro Immobile scored his team's first goal in over two months. Immobile, an Italian striker, increased his league tally in a season marred by injuries by scoring from the penalty spot in the 36th minute at the Stadio Picco to give Lazio their fourth straight victory and consolidate their hold on second place.

Felipe Anderson was brought down by Ethan Ampadu's challenge, which was brutally determined to be both a foul and a punishable infraction. Felipe Anderson was awarded a penalty kick, and the Welshman was later dismissed for receiving a second yellow card. Six minutes after the half, Anderson increased the advantage of the visitors by completing a quick passing sequence that also included Luis Alberto and Immobile. When he ran around Spezia goalkeeper Bartlomiej Dragowski rolled in the third.
