Lazio is eyeing another promising talent as they link with 19-year-old winger Wesley Gassova, a product of Corinthians’ youth academy. Gassova, a Sao Paulo native, made his senior debut in March 2023 and has since become a standout performer, netting five goals and providing four assists in 42 appearances this season. His impressive form has attracted interest from clubs across Europe, including Crystal Palace, who have reportedly held discussions with his agent to bring him to the Premier League.
However, Lazio is also keen on securing the Brazilian’s services, as highlighted by Il Corriere dello Sport (via LazioSpace). Described as a versatile player capable of filling multiple roles in the attacking third, Gassova primarily operates as an inverted left winger but can also excel on the right or as an attacking midfielder. His contract with Corinthians runs until December 2027, with a market value of around €18 million.
