It was confirmed on Tuesday that Lazio had deposited Jony’s contract with the Italian authorities, with the player agreeing a four-year permanent switch to the club.
The deal has long been a formality, with the 28-year-old passing his medical two weeks ago and even scoring in a preseason friendly and looks ready for Europa League.
