Biancocelesti are working towards adding the eighth signing this transfer window but coach Maurizio Sarri is facing a lot of difficulties this time around. Looking for a backup goalkeeper, Lazio has landed on Ivan Provedel, who is the main target for the Serie A side but negotiations are not easy for Sarri. A deal worth €2.5m is being discussed with the player and they have agreed to the personal terms as well but the two are at an impasse with regards to the agent commissions.
Lazio president Claudio Lotito is not ready to spend more this summer, the clubs has already crossed their budget. This is not the only obstacle Lazio faces, keeping their options open if the Provedel deal falls through the team is considering a move for Atalanta’s Marco Sportiello.
