Leeds beat Aston Villa 3-0

Leeds ended Aston Villa's perfect start to the English Premier League. Leeds defeated Aston Villa by 3-0 on Friday. Villa had not once won any of its opening five league games. And, this time again history repeated itself. They missed the chance to top the Premier League for the first time since October 2001. Patrick Bamford was the one who earned this little piece of history. After Gordon Hodgson in 1937, it was Bamford's hat trick which made the striker only the second player to score in each of Leeds' opening three away games in a top-flight season. Marcelo Bielsa's team continued their incredible return to the top spot whereas, for Bamford, it took six Premier League goals.
