Leeds United and Palace hold each other back

Leeds United dug their heels in the ground on Crystal Palace’s home turf to force a 0-0 draw in the latest Premier League match. Leeds gave their hopes of surviving in the tournament a big boost by grabbing one point from the matchup. The first half was action-packed Crystal Palace missed out on taking a lead when Jean-Philippe Mateta gave up two opportunities to get ahead.

In the first half both the teams then took time to find the rhythm with the hopes to change things in the second half but the result stayed the same. Goalkeeper Illan Meslier denied Wilfried Zaha and keep the sheet clean to make the most saves this season. Palace is now 34 points from 33 matches and five points above the red zone while Everton’s heartbreaking loss sees them struggling at 18th place.
