Leicester defeats Chelsea 2-0

Leicester City takes the top spot from Manchester United’s hand creating more trouble for Chelsea along the way. The 2-0 win on Tuesday night against Chelsea helps Leicester return to the top spot beating both the Manchester club to it. They emerge as the real contender for this year's title after five long years of silence.

Frank Lampard’s Chelsea on the other hand is in deeper trouble losing their fifth match of their last eight Premier League games after spending upward of $300 million during the transfer window. Their hopes to win this year’s title were diminished by Brendan Rodgers ’Leicester after their 2-0 thrashing dropping eighth on the table, with Wilfred Ndidi and Maddison scoring in the first half itself to help maintain Leicester’s unbeaten streak of 6 games at King Power Stadium.
