The Cinderella story continues in Leicester City with their first win in a dream debut for Claudio Ranieri's boys, they played at Belgium against Club Brugge and got to leave with three golden points. Today, all the Foxes played at the same demonic pace they did all of last season, it's almost as if they want to be one of this season's underdogs once more. Danny Drinkwater controlled midfield, Jamie Vardy opened up the space for his fellow forwards and Riyad Mahrez gave us yet another master class showcase which we will remember for the rest of our days.
They started early with a fantastic manner at the 6th minute as Hernandez did a long throw, the keeper missed it and Albrighton was there to turn the ball in. Granted it was a mistake by Brugge, but a goal for Leicester regardless. But this would not end here, the Foxes gave one of their most offensive matchs of the season, they missed at least another four chances before their second goal was scored at the 29th minute.
It was Riyad Mahrez with a superb left foot free-kick from 20 yards and he couldn't have hit it any better into the top corner. This was the dream start for the Foxes, but they still wanted more. Right after Drinkwater sent a superb volley just above the bar, Vardy went through and was brought down as he rounded the keeper. In that action Butelle was booked, but the night was all for Mahrez who didn't fail from the spot and kept Leicester City's dreams alive.
