Leipzig still remain outside of top four

Borussia Monchengladbach beats RB Leipzig with one man short on the field by 3-1 to put a dent on their European champions league hopes. Breel Embolo had given Monchengladbach a good lead within 17 minutes of the match but Christopher Nkunku leveled the score at half an hour mark.

Leipzig could not control an in form Jonas Hofmann who scored twice on either side of the half to create trouble for the side. Leipzig could not even take advantage of the fact that Nico Elvedi was sent off at the hour mark.
