Lens managed to secure a 1-0 victory over the relegation-bound Clermont in the French league. While Rennes comfortably defeated Nantes 3-0 to maintain their hopes of qualifying for Europe. After Saturday's games, Lens was in sixth place while Rennes was in seventh. In the second minute, Florian Sotoca scored a penalty to put Lens ahead.
