Robert Lewandowski is expected to decide his future within days as he considers a formal proposal from Chicago Fire following positive talks with the MLS club. According to press, the 37‑year‑old has travelled back to Europe with his family and representatives to assess the next step in a career that has made him one of the most prolific goalscorers of his generation.

Chicago have offered a two‑ or three‑year contract and are reportedly encouraged by recent discussions. Interest, however, extends beyond the United States, with Saudi Pro League teams monitoring the situation as they continue targeting high‑profile European stars. For Chicago Fire, securing Lewandowski would mark one of the most significant signings in their history and reinforce MLS’s ambition to attract global talent. After a decorated spell across Europe, the final decision now rests with the Polish forward as he weighs where to write the closing chapter of his remarkable career.
