Liverpool held back to a disappointing draw by Palace

Liverpool forward Luis Diaz scored a magnificent independent score to counteract Wilfried Zaha's opener for Crystal Palace as they attracted 1-1 in the Premier League at Anfield on Monday, with Reds striker Darwin Nunez shipped off on his home presentation. Liverpool ruled the initial half however it was Zaha who broke the deadlock, staggering past the home group with a splendid performance in the 32nd minute.

It denoted the 6th league game in succession in which Liverpool had yielded the main goal and things went from worse to regrettable in the final part when new Uruguayan marking Nunez got a straight red card for a clear head-butt on Joachim Andersen. Liverpool proceeded to score with the help of Diaz but could not convert other attempts.
