Reports indicate that Dutch coach Arne Slot of Liverpool has identified his compatriot Jeremie Frimpong, Bayer Leverkusen's right-back, as a primary target to reinforce the right flank during the upcoming summer transfer window.
Liverpool's interest in acquiring Frimpong comes amid the possibility of Alexander Arnold's departure this summer, as Slot aims to add greater attacking strength to this position.
According to reports, communications have begun between the Reds' management and the player, but no official offer has been made to the German club yet, with the deal estimated to be around 50 million euros.
