Morten Frendrup, a 22-year-old Danish midfielder for Genoa, is being linked to a transfer to Liverpool. The midfielder, who just recently joined the Serie A team in January 2022, has performed admirably for Alberto Gilardino's team. The midfielder was essential to Genoa's triumphant run for relegation to Serie A the previous season. His on-field talents have not gone unnoticed; Liverpool is keeping an eye on his rising stature.

Jurgen Klopp's strategic approach to scouting and recruiting is in line with Liverpool's interest in Frendrup. The squad has a track record of spotting up-and-coming players and developing them into important members of the starting lineup. Frendrup has demonstrated his flexibility and playmaking skills in 14 games in a variety of tournaments, recording an impressive four assists. According to Italian Football News via ECHO, Liverpool has been lured to Frendrup.
