Liverpool thrashed Leicester City 3-0

As yet another loss, City are doomed to the bottom as Dean Smith's team failed to surprise their Champions League-chasing opponents. However, there wasn't much of a fight either since after giving up the first goal, City lost all motivation and belief. Mo Salah's cross was completed by Curtis Jones to start the scoring, and he soon added a second as panic set in. City was unable to mount a comeback in the second half, and Trent Alexander-Arnold's outstanding goal ended the game.

A quadruple injury blow has been dealt to Leicester City before of the two most important games of the season. Due to injuries sustained in the weeks leading up to the match against Liverpool, Caglar Soyuncu, Danny Ward, and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall were all out from the team to face Liverpool.
