Liverpool’s opportunity to get Ollie Watkins opens up

Former Liverpool forward Daniel Ings or Danny has joined Aston Villa on a 3-year deal for £30 million. Along with Ings, Villa has increased their attacking sector by adding Emiliano Buendia and Leon Bailey. With these three forwards in the team, Villa’s Ollie Watkins might not have a place in the team. This can be an opportunity for Liverpool to make an offer for him. His market price is £29 million as given by Transfermarkt.

Liverpool’s head coach Jurgen Klopp wants to add a new striker to the team and the 25-year-old is a great fit for the team. The only reason he might not leave Aston Villa is if he got to play in the left wing, a replacement for their captain Jack Grealish. On personal terms, Watkins won’t deny the deal by Liverpool if he got the chance as Liverpool is a big team and he can have a better shot at winning the Premier League and Champions League with them.
