Lorient winger Dango Ouattara joins Bournemouth
20.01.23 / 08:00
Bournemouth announced the signing of Burkinabe forward Dango Ouattara from Lorient on a five-and-a-half-year commitment on Thursday.
The Cherries have been attempting to improve Gary O'Neil's first-team lineup ever since taking control of the organization at the tail end of 2022. The international from Burkina Faso is currently the team's first newcomer under Cherries owner Bill Foley. 20-year-old Ouattara has played in 18 Ligue 1 games this season and has six goals and six assists.
Although the price hasn't been made public, transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano believes Bournemouth has agreed to pay £20.11m, plus add-ons. Currently ranked 17th in the Premier League, Ouattara's new squad will open its doors to Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
