Well, this isn't so weird when you stop and think about it a little bit, Lucas Digne is a full-back after all and Roberto Carlos is one of the best players in football history who played that position. The only weird thing about this, is that Digne plays for Barcelona and having a Real Madrid player as your idol does seem a bit off for many fans who really hate Los Blancos.
Talking to Sport, Digne dropped the bomb: "I liked Roberto Carlos. He was very good attacking and defending. I also like Lahm, who can play in the middle of the pitch and defense. Barcelona are the biggest club in the world. We have to give everything to win the Champions League," he added.
"It's a very difficult competition, the most complicated in the world. We have a great team and we'll give it our all. Barcelona are the point of reference in football. For La Masia, the club, the way of playing. Barca is football."
