Luis Enrique confirms Munir may exit the club

Throughout the last week, FC Barcelona has been doing everything in their power to bring Valencia home product Paco Alcacer before August 31st. The player has already told the club about his intentions to leave, but there is a problem with the Catalan club. Youngster Munir El Haddadi does not agree with the deal because that would mean less minutes for him, that's why he has requested FC Barcelona to let him go on loan to another club.

And since Valencia is losing one of their best players, they have also requested to include Munir in the whole transfer. The lad would be going to Valencia on loan for a year, but the Ches have the option of buying him after that season has passed. Manager Luis Enrique has confirmed Munir's situation to the press this Saturday ahead of the Catalan club's visit to San Mames this Sunday.

This is what Luis Enrique said: "The squad I have right now is very good. I'm happy with what I have. When you make loan deals, there are lots of different cases. A lot depends on what the club the player is being loaned to wants. I can't confirm anything until possible arrivals or departures are confirmed. For Sergi Samper, there was clearly a doubt over him having minutes or leaving to play at the top level. But it's a decision taken by the player.

"There are players who have stayed and managed to reverse their situation, and others who haven't. There have also been players who have gone, proven their worth and returned. Any option is valid. Alcacer? I only speak about players in the Barcelona squad."
