Every time a striker comes to one of the best clubs in the world, he usually needs a little time to adapt and start functioning properly. To former Valencia striker Paco Alcacer, getting adapted to FC Barcelona's dynamic hasn't been easy, but his manager believes he will get there pretty soon without a problem. The boss backed him to improve this season without question, he is pleased with the work he is putting in every day.
Lucho told the press that: "Paco is doing everything I want of him and, even though he is still adapting, he is doing it perfectly. It is key that the squad knows Paco can do a job for the team. He arrived at the end of pre-season which makes things difficult but I'm pleased. Alcacer has been wonderful, he has been almost perfect. I am happy with his performances."
Alcacer also told Mundo Deportivo that: "It's clear that it is complicated to arrive to a top club like Barcelona with unique players. All the strikers depend on goals but if I play for Barcelona it is because this club saw something to sign me. I will score goals. Last year I also had problems to score my first goal but when I score the first, I will score more.
"My team-mates make my life and training easy and help me a lot. I thank all of them. I can understand that they could be haughty because they're big stars but they are humble. Barcelona players can improve each player that plays with them. I based my decision to come here on the hopeful project of Barcelona and it is a big step forward in my career. I took a correct decision."
