Lukaku has made it plain that he wants to stay with Inter for the upcoming campaign, and in doing so, he has rejected a £45 million ($57 million) per season move to Saudi Arabia. Both parties, according to 90Min, are close to reaching a deal that would see Lukaku sign with the Italian team.
The shaky financial status of Inter has complicated matters. However, if they were to trade Andre Onana and Marcelo Brozovic, a deal for Lukaku may then be completed. Chelsea rejected Inter's request for a loan with an obligation to purchase. However, both sides believe that a compromise will be reached and a deal will be pushed through that would benefit both teams. Romelu Lukaku has scored 19 goals in all competitions from 12 yards and has never missed a penalty while wearing an Inter jersey.
