More bad news for Real Madrid following their trip to Pamplona. Alvaro Arbeloa's side returned empty-handed after Raul Garcia de Haro's late goal sealed a 2-1 victory for Osasuna. On Sunday, the club confirmed that Dani Ceballos sustained an injury during the final minutes of his appearance at El Sadar.
"Following tests conducted today on our player Dani Ceballos by the medical services, he has been diagnosed with a soleus muscle injury in his right leg. His recovery will be monitored," the club confirmed.
According to 'EFE' sources, the injury will keep him sidelined for approximately two months.
This comes as a significant personal blow for the player. He played just eight minutes at El Sadar, and was involved in the turnover that led to Osasuna's winning goal. Prior to this, he featured for only 20 minutes against Real Sociedad at the Santiago Bernabeu, and did not play against Benfica.
