Real Madrid faced fresh internal unrest after Marca reported a heated confrontation between Federico Valverde and Aurelien Tchouameni during Wednesday’s session at Valdebebas. The dispute allegedly began with a strong challenge in a training drill, quickly escalating from a verbal exchange to physical shoving before teammates and staff intervened. The tension reportedly continued inside the dressing room, though what happened beyond that point remains unclear.

The episode adds to a series of recent flashpoints unsettling the club. Madrid have already dealt with controversy surrounding Kylian Mbappé and a separate clash involving Antonio Rüdiger and Álvaro Carreras, deepening concerns about the squad’s internal harmony. Frustration has grown amid an underwhelming campaign marked by inconsistent performances and mounting pressure on multiple fronts.

The timing could hardly be worse for Madrid, arriving just days before the Clásico against Barcelona, a match in which their rivals could potentially secure the La Liga title.
