Michael Olise’s future may become clearer once Bayern Munich begin discussions over a new contract, with the direction of those talks likely to shape Real Madrid’s chances of moving for him. The French winger, contracted until 2029, has impressed so much since arriving from Crystal Palace that Bayern are preparing to offer a significant pay rise, with negotiations expected to start toward the end of the year. Olise currently earns just under €300,000 per week, and Bayern believe they can secure his long‑term commitment.
Real Madrid remain heavily linked with the 24‑year‑old, but any pursuit will depend on whether Bayern sense vulnerability during the talks. The German club do not anticipate problems, though Olise rarely reveals his intentions publicly, preferring to let performances speak—he scored again for France in Friday’s 1–1 draw with Italy. For now, Bayern appear relaxed, but the structure of the new deal will indicate how difficult Madrid’s task may be.
