Majeed Waris gets four-year contract extension at Porto
Ghana international Abdul Majeed Waris have reportedly been handed a contract extension at Portuguese Club FC Porto.
The striker after completing his loan deal has earned himself a fresh contract with the Portuguese Champions.
Waris was signed on a six months deal by Porto from French Club Lorient.
Having joined in the winter transfer window, the forward looked to have impressed the technical handlers of FC Porto hence receiving a four-year contract as reported in the various portals in Portugal.
FC Porto are yet to confirm the supposed deal with the Ghanaian attacker.
The former Trabzonspor and Valencienne goal poacher will be facing massive competition from Cameroonian forward Vincent Abubakar as well as Moussa Marega from Mali who have been the reliable strikers for Porto in the last two seasons.
The 26-year-old only made five appearances for Porto in his short-term deal with the Club.
